Back in July of 2004, when I first wrote my article, When a Cat Dies, and posted it in my blog, I had little thought that many readers would take the time to read it. You see, the article deals with planning in advance what to do with the remains of your cat when he/she passes on, a topic that many of us would prefer to ignore. I found it an important one though, because I remember my grief and confusion when my Shannon died very suddenly in July of 2001.
