Puppies in Halloween Costumes
Some of my friends, on the other hand, feel that dressing up pets constitutes animal abuse, and should probably be cause to bring in the ASPCA. Most of these folks, I’ve noticed, have big dogs. I really think that if they had, for example, a pug, the cuteness of the whole thing would overwhelm them and they’d be forced to buy a teeny little which outfit. Do You Dress Your Cat for Halloween?
Dressing up your cat is another matter, however. I can think of only one cat of my acquaintance who would allow such a thing, and that’s my aunt’s very sweet, very mellow cat Punkin. Punkin would let you put him in a costume. He would let you dye his fur. He would even probably hold your treat bag for you, only he doesn’t have any thumbs.
